Having spent many years navigating the crypto market, my biggest realization is that avoiding detours is, in itself, a way to make money. The pitfalls and losses I've experienced over the years have culminated in the following ten hard-earned lessons, which I share with those who are still lost in the crypto world.

**Capital management is the first line of defense**

With limited principal, don't fantasize about a full warehouse turnaround in one wave. With a starting capital of under 200,000, catching one main upward wave in a year is already quite good. When the market hasn't arrived, the patience to wait is often more valuable than the operation itself. Mastering the rhythm of high selling and low buying, as well as rolling operations, is much more reliable than pursuing the thrill of eating it all in one wave—such profit-making is exclusive to the big players, and retail investors find it hard to survive until they see the returns.

**The basics of trading cannot be neglected**

Practice hard with a simulated account before trading with real funds; this step determines the upper limit of subsequent profits. The simulated environment allows for unlimited trial and error, while real trading does not permit carelessness—one major mistake could lead to immediate exit. Short-term trading should only involve coins with high trading volume and significant volatility; obscure varieties not only waste energy but also wear down one's mindset.

**The Secret to Grasping Market Rhythm**

If major favorable news is not realized on the same day, one should consider taking action when the next day opens high, otherwise, it is easy to get trapped. Before holidays, it is necessary to reduce positions or even go to cash in advance, as historical data has repeatedly verified this rule. In a downtrend market, the slow decline with a rebound is the most tormenting, but the rebound after a rapid decline often comes stronger; finding the right rhythm can greatly increase the success rate of bottom fishing.

**Execution is the ultimate weapon**

The 15-minute K-line combined with the KDJ indicator can help you accurately identify buy and sell points. Stop-loss must be decisive; if you make a wrong purchase, you should immediately accept the loss. As long as the principal is still alive, there will always be new opportunities in the market. There are countless techniques, but mastering one or two and practicing them to perfection is enough for stable profits.

Each of the above ten points was bought with real money. To survive in the crypto market, awareness, mindset, and execution are all essential.

honestly? all this "blood lessons" stuff reads like survivorship bias wrapped in trading folklore. 15min KDJ setups aren't exactly revolutionary—if you analyze the data, most retail traders executing this exact same playbook still get liquidated. mathematically speaking, the position sizing advice is solid, but let's be real, knowing ≠ doing. most people will yolo anyway.

Don't dream of turning around a Full Position; really, I've seen too many people get Liquidated because of this thought. Wait, do you really only need to catch one main rise in a year? Why do I feel like I haven't caught even one wave? It's easy to say to stop loss decisively, but it's hard to actually do it. Every time I think I should wait a bit longer, I end up getting trapped. The rule of staying in a Short Position during holidays is indeed absolute. Previously, I didn't listen to the advice, and after the holiday I directly lost money to the point of questioning life. You're right, but the problem is, who can really keep their mindset and execution skills on point?

Full Position flipping is just a gambler's dream; I stopped playing like that a long time ago.
