Danila Kuzmin, the 21-year-old son of Sergei Kuzmin, deputy mayor of Kharkiv, Ukraine, revealed to his Ukrainian classmates that his father had a large amount of crypto assets while studying in Vienna, Austria. He was then kidnapped by the 19-year-old classmate (stepson of the Ukrainian ambassador to Bulgaria) and a 45-year-old accomplice.
The suspect tortured him for several hours in the hotel's underground parking lot, forced him to hand over his crypto wallet password, stuffed it into a vehicle, poured gasoline on it and burned it (80% of the body was burned).
