If governance mechanisms are overly optimized from the perspective of "safety and efficiency," the path to innovation will be closed.
Compliance with rules is important, but there are pitfalls that many participants do not notice——pursuing perfection too much in the present can easily sacrifice future growth potential. Looking at the evolution of DeFi protocols and DAOs, overly strict rules set in the early stages often become obstacles to ecosystem expansion later on.
The balance between stability and creativity is the key factor in determining long-term competitiveness.

Well said, I completely agree... Too many projects fail because their rules are too rigid, getting stuck in the early stages, leaving no room for innovation later on. Stability and creativity should be in a balance.

You're so right. Now a bunch of projects are obsessing over compliance, and as a result, they've gotten stuck.

Rigid rules become shackles, and DeFi has already proven this... Those overly regulated projects in the early days are now stuck.

ngl the over-optimization trap hits different... you're describing exactly what happened when protocols got too rigid early on. the creative friction gets smoothed out and suddenly you're stuck in someone else's perfectly polished cage, which is... not very punk of us.
