I recently dug up my trading account data from the past few years and realized that my life trajectory has truly been changed by this industry. I still remember three years ago, when I was so tight on funds that I had to meticulously plan every day, watching the market all day for fear of a single mistake leading to a liquidation. Now, with the profits accumulated from digital asset trading, I’ve already taken care of those big life events — finally having some real confidence.

In 2024, my core account grew 42 times. I also withdrew funds twice due to major life events, otherwise the results would have been even more impressive. But compared to the numbers themselves, I am more grateful that I finally escaped the days of staring at the screen at 3 a.m. with a racing heart, and no longer worry about waking up to an account wiped out.

Having been through eight years in this circle, I’ve seen too many newbies fall into the same traps — starting with a few thousand yuan, chasing quick gains at 2%, cutting losses at 3%, and ending up with a completely unrecognizable account. Their problem isn’t lack of money, but treating "trading" as "luck-based gambling," completely reversing the correct approach.

My practical strategy consists of these four simple steps, so simple that it’s hard to make it simpler, but those who truly execute it have yet to experience total loss of capital:

**Step 1: Position sizing is like building blocks, one-third is the starting point**

Whether your account holds 3,000 or 30,000 yuan, always use only one-third to open the first position. Don’t touch the remaining funds — this isn’t conservatism, it’s the capital needed to survive. I’ve seen too many people rush to go all-in on a certain coin, only to be wiped out by a black swan. Keep some margin, and you’ll have a chance to turn things around.

42x leverage is truly outrageous, but I really believe in this one-third position sizing method. Otherwise, I would have been wiped out by my random trades long ago.

The 42x leverage is a bit intense, but I've heard quite a few people mention your split trading logic. However, very few can actually stick to opening one-third of their positions consistently.

42x? Alright, that number sounds exciting, but I really don't want to go back to the days of monitoring the market at 3 a.m.

42x? Wow, bro, this move is really incredible. But what I really want to ask is, what are the three steps after that? Just hearing about the first step of position splitting already sounds interesting.

42x? Bro, that's a bit hard to believe, but there's nothing wrong with adjusting your mindset. Staying glued to the screen at 3 a.m. definitely needs to change.

Well, I've been doing that for one-third of my trades for a long time. The key is that it's really hard to stick with it.
