Recently, I encountered a pretty heartbreaking situation. A major exchange launched a contract, and another exchange also followed suit. Just as I was about to receive the $US airdrop, I got stuck at the second verification step. I guess there are many users like me who are locked out, watching the airdrop slip away feels really bad.
Plus, there’s a staking project I’ve been following recently. The APR numbers are indeed tempting, but the problem is that the rewards can only be withdrawn after a certain period. If the verification went smoothly, I might still have had the energy to continue staking and break even. But now, I can’t even do my job. I checked the project documents, and the unclaimed airdrops will be redirected to future activities. Looking at the current situation, there’s basically no chance to make another quick gain. This is the harshness of the market — a one-second process blockage, and the opportunity disappears entirely.

Once again, locking oneself into the smart trap of identity verification, a theoretically feasible process, but in practice just an useless innovation.

Card verification results in losing the airdrop opportunity, this design is really brilliant... The process is so rigid, it feels like it's just filtering people.

Unbelievable, just one verification gets you completely stuck, I even want to ask if the exchange is doing this on purpose...
Getting stuck at identity verification, waiting forever, and the airdrop is long gone
No matter how high the APY, it’s useless if you can't withdraw, just watching the funds flow into others’ pockets feels so bad
Waiting for a while, the opportunity runs away, this is Web3 friends, speed is life and death
Making verification so difficult feels like some exchanges really don't want retail investors to claim...
Being stuck again and again, delayed repeatedly, feels like playing hide and seek with the exchange
This passive missed opportunity is the most torturous, even more painful than losing money directly
The staking project documentation probably is also a scam, anyway I’ve lost hope
The opportunity flashes by, but the exchange’s snail-paced verification can drag on for a whole year

The exchange's verification process is really incredible; anyone would be exhausted trying. Airdrops are all about catching the early bird, not the latecomer. If you're stuck here, it's game over...

Oh no, the identity verification process taking so long is really frustrating, and it looks like the airdrop is gone.
The verification process is so slow, how can it keep up with the market pace?
It's so disappointing, the staking period is locked, and the opportunity just slips away.
The exchange verification system needs to be improved; users are really being tortured.
Losing the airdrop is minor, there won't be any chances for future activities, it's just ridiculous.

ngl the whole "validation bottleneck = missed airdrop" thing is textbook insufficient process design. technically speaking, if their kyc pipeline can't handle volume, that's a critical vulnerability they should've audited beforehand. not your fault they deployed with deprecated infrastructure honestly

Damn, KYC blocked me again, is the airdrop gone just like that?
Verifying this thing is really ridiculous, a one-second delay and you lose the entire season
The APR for staking looks attractive, but not being able to withdraw is just a slap in the face
This is what they call Web3 freedom, huh? Laughing to death
Once the process is blocked, all chances are gone. Too harsh
The most tempting airdrops are those you can’t catch up with
By the way, who hasn’t been screwed over by KYC? Raise your hand

This verification process is really amazing; just one last step to forcibly block the airdrop. It's heartbreaking.
