Recently, many influencers have been saying "Everyone can become a KOL," which suddenly reminded me of a sentence from my mentor that resonated deeply—true KOLs must have standout works to show for it.

In the crypto grooming circle, the competition becomes especially fierce and painfully intense.

Many bloggers spend their days just banding together for warmth, kneeling to flatter top accounts, and riding various hot trends. As soon as fans hear these names, their first thought is to ask: Does this guy have any real skills? Have they ever produced viral content? Or are they just relying on tearing others down and jumping on bandwagons?

That’s the key difference. Either you have something to show—exclusive information, in-depth analysis, successful case studies—or you become just a traffic hunter. In an era of information explosion, anyone can speak up, but only those who truly leave a mark are remembered.

That's right, these days you see "KOL" everywhere, but how many of them actually have valuable content? The bloggers I follow usually do have something to offer, unlike those who just jump on trending topics every day and become annoying. The industry has become so competitive that unless you have quality work, there's no point wasting effort. It's harming those newcomers who genuinely want to learn something, as this bunch of opportunists muddles the waters, and the information is all garbage. In-depth analysis is really rare; most are just parrots. Leaving a mark is the key; fans' eyes are still sharp. I really look down on trend followers; if you have the ability, create some original content.

actually... kinda tired of everyone claiming they're a "kol" when they can't even provide verifiable proof of their claims, ngl. where's the cryptographic rigor in this space? 😤

It's a real slap in the face, but honestly, most people in the grooming circle survive by riding on hot topics. I just want to ask, how many people can really produce valuable content? Most of them are just copying and pasting, right?
