The trading liquidity of SOL has been somewhat poor recently. Price fluctuations are intense, slippage issues are obvious, and there is a lack of counterparty volume, making it costly to enter and exit positions. It's quite difficult to execute precise trades in this market condition.

SOL's liquidity is really poor, how can the slippage be so outrageous?

On-chain data shows that the order book depth of this wave of SOL is indeed shrinking. From the code perspective, it seems that market maker incentives on the DEX side are also loosening. An interesting point is that large transfers are actually experiencing longer delays.

Oh no, isn't this the same feeling I had when I went all-in on altcoins back in the day? Slippage can just trap you alive.
Poor liquidity basically means no one is willing to take the other side. We retail investors have to accept the losses ourselves.
Young people, never be like me and act rashly. In this kind of market, it's truly a suicidal move.
I should have started buying Bitcoin earlier, instead of playing with these fancy coins. A costly lesson learned.

With such a huge slippage, are you still daring to enter? I've been liquidated several times already.

SOL's liquidity really sucks; the slippage can eat up half of your profit.
