Raise Smart Cards launches on Solana: How will the on-chain gift card ecosystem reshape brand loyalty?

【CryptoWorld】Recently, there’s a promising new development in the Solana ecosystem. Raise Smart Cards has officially chosen Solana as its technical backbone to build on-chain gift cards and loyalty ecosystems. This concept is quite interesting — directly bringing brand reward systems onto the blockchain.

According to official sources, this system can be compatible with major brands like Uber and Fanatics, allowing users’ loyalty points and gift cards to circulate on-chain, no longer locked within a single platform. With this, Solana’s high performance and low fees come into play. Imagine millions of users’ reward interactions confirmed on-chain in seconds, at a cost far lower than traditional solutions — this is a real competitive advantage for Web3 applications.

This also reflects a trend: ecosystem applications shifting from simple transactions to practical business scenarios. Loyalty systems may not sound sexy, but with large user bases, high-frequency interactions, and necessary-use scenarios, they are, in some ways, easier to penetrate the market than pure financial applications.

Uh, interesting. Is Solana planning to introduce new tricks again? Can it really handle it? A million TPS sounds impressive. But if big companies like Uber really adopt it, it seems promising... Wait, could point circulation be exploited for arbitrage speculation?

Solana, this move really has potential. If gift cards start circulating, the intermediary costs will be directly cut down. The question is, will brands actually use it? How will the user experience be? Will it be another pile of complicated wallet operations that discourage newbies? Empowering brand loyalty in this way is indeed practical and more reliable than just hype. If platforms like Uber with real scale can truly implement it, that would be convincing. Right now, it's all just PPT promises.

Honestly, gift cards should have been on the blockchain long ago. The previous point-based system locked by the platform was really disgusting. It would be amazing if we could truly connect with top brands like Uber and Fanatics, but the prerequisite is having enough users.
