Just got the latest update for that browser extension we've been using - they tweaked how data gets pulled.
Now you gotta hit the "Alt" key to trigger it. Seems like they did this because the old version was way too sensitive and kept firing off when you didn't want it to.
Honestly makes sense - nothing worse than having tools activating randomly while you're browsing. Quick fix, but definitely improves the experience.

Alt key trigger? This change is pretty interesting, definitely better than it jumping around randomly before.

Alt key, these changes are pretty good. It's definitely better than automatic triggers happening all the time.

Alt key trigger? This change seems a bit unnecessary; I'm so used to one-click startup that it's hard to adapt now.

Alt key to trigger? Fine, it's better than randomly bouncing every time.

Alt key trigger? That's a bit redundant. Weren't the previous automations pretty smooth?

Alt key trigger? This change is okay. The previous version was indeed too sensitive and annoying.

Alt key activation? This operation is a bit confusing; users accustomed to automatic triggers will need to adapt.

alt key activation feels like classic UX theater tbh... they're literally just adding friction to seem more "intentional" lmao. watch the memetic velocity on this shift—users perceiving *control* is half the psyops battle right there
