[Ablockbeats] The Aave community has just passed a major vote, with support soaring to 99.96%—basically a unanimous decision.
The core of this vote is to adjust the V3 multi-chain deployment strategy: directly cutting deployment plans on zkSync, Metis, and Soneium. At the same time, a new rule is set: want to deploy on a new chain in the future? First, see if it can bring in $2 million in revenue.
Next, the community will officially release a standard ARFC proposal to implement these adjustments. It’s clear that Aave is narrowing its focus, putting more emphasis on quality and real returns.

Rather than deploying so many chains, it’s better to solidify the core. The $2 million threshold looks pretty tough.

99.96% approval rate, now that’s what I call consensus. Cutting out three chains actually shows restraint— not every ecosystem is worth expanding into.

99.96%? That number is a bit too neat, better check if there's a loophole in the voting mechanism... But honestly, cutting off three chains is pretty rational. Rather than spreading yourself too thin, it's better to focus your efforts. It's like fixing code—you should prioritize high-risk vulnerabilities instead of going after every little bug.

This round of cuts is pretty harsh, starting at $2 million. The small chains are out of luck.

theoretically speaking, if we consider the recursive nature of liquidity fragmentation across L2s... gutting zkSync deployment hits different. that 200M revenue gate is basically saying "prove your interoperability vector actually works" — respect the rigor tbh

Is that it? Cutting three chains doesn't feel like enough. There will always be lower points; let's wait until Aave shrinks a bit more before making a move.
