Don't remind me again today

#数字资产市场观察 has been in this market for almost 8 years, and in the first 3 years, I directly lost 70% of my principal. At that time, I really thought I was done for.

$ETH During the worst times, I actually came to understand some things. Relying on these few strict rules, I managed to climb out of the pit, and now my account curve is as stable as stairs, never dropping down again.

Some people are curious about how I translated it?

$SOL To be honest, I have neither talent nor insider information. What resources do retail investors have? Surviving until now relies entirely on three principles of persistence:

**Rule 1: Better to miss than to make a mistake**

I used to love chasing the rise, thinking everything was an opportunity, but I ended up losing nine times out of ten. Later, I realized that there are only a few real opportunities to profit in a year. When the market isn’t right, I just lie flat; when the opportunity comes, I take action, and this approach is actually more stable. It’s not about luck, but the winning rate after patiently filtering.

**Article 2: Position is the Bottom Line**

I have also experienced that, the feeling of going to zero overnight, you understand, right? Now my rule is to build positions in batches, increase my investment with the profits when the trend is good, and cut losses immediately when the signs are not right. Small losses are normal, but I absolutely cannot let one mistake wipe out my account.

**Article 3: Only what is in hand counts**

I've seen too many people make a fortune on paper only to end up with nothing in the end. My habit now is to withdraw immediately after a big win, transferring it directly to a cold wallet to lock it away. No matter how good the unrealized gains look, they are just numbers; only real money in my pocket feels solid.

Some people might think these few points are too conservative, but it is precisely these "stupid methods" that helped me transform from a rookie who doubted life after losing money back then into an experienced player.

This market is not a casino; it will only amplify your human weaknesses tenfold. Either you lay in wait for the right moment or you end up lifting someone else's sedan chair.

I am Lao K. I have experienced losses, endured hardships, and survived. If you are still recklessly charging around, we can chat. I can share with you the pitfalls I've encountered and the lessons I've learned over the years.

Sometimes, what you might be lacking is a reminder from someone who has been there.

To be honest, the second point hit me hard. I once got wiped out last year because I didn't stick to the bottom line of position management.

Really, it's better to miss out than to chase the price and lose money quickly. I saved tens of thousands last year because of this.

It's this same old story again, but it really hits home... I've also experienced that 70%, and I still twitch in my dreams.

look, position sizing is literally the only thing that matters here—everything else is just noise. if you're not thinking about this mathematically, you're just gambling with extra steps tbh
