Two members of Parliament, Jörg Urban and Steffen Kottré from the AfD, and several deputies attended a summit in Russia’s Sochi on Sunday. AfD is a far-right political entity in Germany and is the main opposition party.
European Parliament deputy Hans Nohoff also attended the conference in Sochi. Even Bundestag deputy Rainer Rotfuß wanted to attend the summit but backed out at the last moment “after talks with colleagues” and “on his own initiative,” according to DW.
