The commission will monitor market conditions and study the provision of relevant guidelines for the market. Huang Tianyou added that there are currently no laws in Hong Kong to regulate listed companies' participation in virtual asset treasury arrangements. For listed companies claiming to adopt digital asset treasury (DAT), Huang Tianyou urged investors to be cautious and clearly understand what DAT means and its underlying value. He also stated that the issue of listed companies purchasing Bitcoin will be studied.
