Techub News reported that the U.S. Attorney's Office filed a civil forfeiture lawsuit in federal court for the District of Columbia for $225 million in funds involved in cryptocurrency investment fraud and money laundering, making it the largest seizure of cryptocurrency scam funds in history.

The complaint states that the U.S. Secret Service and the Federal Bureau of Investigation used blockchain analysis and other investigative techniques to determine that these Crypto Assets were related to the theft and Money Laundering activities of Crypto Assets investment scams.
