The UK's first FCA-regulated encryption derivation platform GFO-X has completed its first transaction.

According to Gate.io News bot and CoinDesk, the UK’s first FCA-regulated encryption derivatives trading platform GFO-X has launched operations in London. The platform completed its first transaction on Tuesday, with the trading parties being Financial Institution Virtu Financial and IMC, and the transaction was cleared through LSEG’s subsidiary LCH’s DigitalAssetClear.

GFO-X has received support from banks such as ABN AMRO, Nomura, and Standard Chartered. In December 2023, GFO-X completed a $30 million Series B funding round led by M&G Investments.
