According to Foresight News, Bitcoin ZK Rollup GOAT Network released the GOAT BitVM2 white paper, proposing the first Bitcoin-native zkRollup protocol that can be implemented. On the basis of inheriting the advantages of the original BitVM2 protocol, the protocol proposes a number of innovations, systematically solves the problems of Operator double spending attacks, inefficient challenge process and insufficient incentive mechanism, introduces a crypto-economic security layer, accelerates dispute resolution and incentive alignment to challenge the economy, ensures high activity under the assumption of 1-of-n honest nodes on the premise of inheriting the native security of BTC, and shortens the original 14-day challenge period of BitVM2 to less than 1 day.
