BlockBeats message, April 6, BitMine disclosed that, as of April 5, 2026, the total amount of Ethereum it has staked has reached 3,334,637 ETH, valued at approximately $7.1 billion based on roughly $2,123 per ETH, making up an important portion of its total holdings of about 4.5 million ETH.
Data shows that BitMine’s ETH staking size has grown rapidly since the beginning of the year: from about 659k ETH in early January, it has steadily increased to the current 3.33 million ETH. After holding at around 3.04 million ETH during the February to March period, it accelerated again and rose further.
On the returns side, the current Composite Ethereum Staking Rate (CESR) is about 2.74%, while BitMine’s staking yield over the past 7 days is about 2.78%, slightly higher than the market average.
Analysis believes that BitMine’s continued expansion of its ETH staking size reflects a strategy centered on allocating yield-bearing assets, further strengthening the balance between on-chain yields and long-term holdings.
