Wormhole responds to Drift incident: Some cross-chain transactions may experience delays due to Solana's built-in security mechanism

BlockBeats message, April 2, Wormhole posted on the X platform in response to the Drift Protocol attack incident, stating that Wormhole users’ assets are not currently at risk, that the cross-chain bridge functionality can still be used normally, but that due to built-in security mechanisms configured for Solana, some cross-chain transfers may experience delays. Wormhole’s core contributors have been in communication with the Solana ecosystem team and will continue to provide support as needed.
