ETH 15-minute price up 0.61%: Active buying comes in, and a breakout above a key level in tandem boosts short-term performance

ETH-3,1%

From 2026-03-31 13:00 to 13:15 (UTC), ETH fluctuated within the 2047.63 to 2061.18 USDT range. The 15-minute candlestick return recorded +0.61%, with an amplitude of 0.66%. Market attention in this period clearly increased; short-term bullish sentiment edged up, volatility intensified, and incremental liquidity was attracted to enter.

The main drivers behind this unusual move were a slight increase in on-chain trading volume and a surge in aggressive buy orders. ETH’s daily average number of on-chain transactions remained at a high level of 2,000,000. During the window, spot market trading volume expanded, while the on-chain transfer median and total transfer volume rose in parallel, reflecting strong trading enthusiasm among market participants. At the same time, ETH price achieved a small upside breakout in a key resistance zone, triggering short-term follow-through from quant and algorithmic funds, which further amplified positive return fluctuations.

In addition, ETH exchange inflows totaled about $904 million over 24 hours, with a short-term inflow of $420,690, indicating that large funds were actively rebalancing, but there was no sign of a single whale concentrating buys and sells or of large-scale fund transfers between platforms. From a structural perspective, Layer 2 upgrades bring a “high usage, low price” network characteristic; on-chain activity and the DeFi locked-value trend are improving, which increases the price sensitivity to inflows and key-level breakouts. ETF fund flows and new users contributed limitedly to this unusual move, but overall market sentiment was influenced by a pullback from early-year highs, making local volatility more likely to be amplified.

At present, ETH price elasticity is suppressed. The market is highly sensitive to where funds are flowing and the order structure. Investors should be vigilant about event risks going forward, such as subsequent ETF fund flow changes and security-related developments in major DeFi protocols. Key support to watch is around $2,200. Fund flow direction and changes in exchange holdings are the barometer. Please note short-term volatility risks, keep monitoring the dynamics of large on-chain funds and shifts in market sentiment, and obtain more market information.
