Crypto trader Wesley tracked by anonymous location device, on-chain detective ZachXBT says he will assist in reporting to the FBI

Gate News: On March 9th, well-known cryptocurrency trader and poker player Wesley posted on social media that his iPhone recently alerted him to an “unknown tracking device” nearby, but he didn’t pay attention at the time. Later, while inspecting his vehicle, he found a device inside the hood that appeared to be used for tracking and reported it to the police. Wesley, who has been involved in poker and crypto trading for a long time, believes he may be a target of crime and warns industry professionals not to ignore unknown device tracking alerts on their iPhones. Subsequently, renowned on-chain investigator ZachXBT privately messaged Wesley, offering assistance to escalate the report to the FBI Los Angeles office if needed. Wesley responded that he felt a bit scared and appreciated the other person’s willingness to help. In his original post, Wesley also reminded crypto industry practitioners that if their phones receive alerts about unknown tracking devices, they should immediately check their surroundings and stay vigilant. The situation has been reported to the Los Angeles Police Department.
