What is NFT Paris

In the booming age of Web3 technology, NFTs (non-fungible tokens) are reshaping industries like art, finance, and gaming. NFT Paris is one of the largest Web3 events worldwide and has drawn massive attention since its inception.

The 4th edition was held at La Grande Halle de la Villette, a venue 50% larger than the previous one at the Grand Palais Éphémère. It could simultaneously host four summits: XYZ Paris, Ordinals Paris, RWA Paris, and NFT Paris itself. The 3rd edition had 18,000 visitors; this year, attendance was expected to exceed 20,000.

The Evolution of NFT Paris

NFT Paris was launched by Alexandre Tsydenkov, a student at HEC Paris, who, together with classmates, became interested in NFTs during their studies. They began by hosting small NFT events in Paris bars, each attracting over 100 attendees. Encouraged by this response, they organized the first official NFT Paris at Station F, drawing over 800 participants and partners like Arianee, The Sandbox, and Ledger. With over 4,000 people on the waitlist, it became Europe’s first major NFT event.

The second edition, held on February 24–25, 2023, moved to the Grand Palais Éphémère near the Eiffel Tower, expanding from 900m² to 10,000m². It showcased emerging trends and projects and hosted top figures like Greg Solano (Yuga Labs), Farokh (Rug Radio), and Nicolas Julia (Sorare), attracting over 8,000 visitors.

The third edition featured extensive participation from The Sandbox, with booths, talks, and over ten events across topics like gender inclusivity, sports, fashion, and art. France’s Secretary of State for Digital Affairs, Marina Ferrari, visited their booth. Inspired by its success, the team also launched XYZ Paris, focusing on generative AI, at Station F.

The fourth edition, held on February 13–14, 2025, at La Grande Halle de la Villette, could host four parallel summits and welcomed more than 20,000 visitors.

What Happens at NFT Paris?
