White House Crypto Chief David Sacks Discussed Bitcoin and the US's Plans for More BTC Purchases!

The Bitcoin 2025 Conference taking place in Las Vegas from May 27-29 started yesterday.

Many names from both the cryptocurrency sector and the political side attended the conference, one of which was White House cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence director David Sacks.

Speaking about Bitcoin, Sacks noted that Trump has taken significant pro-Bitcoin steps since taking office.

Sacks stated that the most important of these is the US Strategic Bitcoin Reserve, arguing that the Bitcoin reserve could be expanded by purchasing more BTC without affecting the country's budget.

"I think the government can finance the purchase of Bitcoin independently from the budget without paying taxes or adding to the growing national debt. That's when the US can buy more Bitcoin."

Therefore, if we can convince Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick or Treasury Secretary Scott Besson to buy some Bitcoin and they can figure out how to finance it, then we could potentially acquire more Bitcoin.

David Sacks also emphasized that the future of both artificial intelligence and Bitcoin is closely tied to energy infrastructure, calling for more domestic energy production.

Sacks, who stated that Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are the financial system of the future, noted that they have achieved a lot in just a four-month period and indicated that they will make more progress related to BTC and cryptocurrencies.

"Bitcoin and crypto are the financial system of the future. And we want this innovation to take place in the United States. We do not want it to be moved abroad."

The president has definitely put us on the right path. And only four months have passed. So we still have more than three and a half years left. That’s why I think what we will be able to achieve in the next few years will be truly incredible.
