People's Financial News, April 8 — The South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff reported on April 8 (local time) that North Korea launched an unidentified projectile eastward from the Pyongyang area on the 7th. However, the projectile experienced abnormal conditions during the initial phase of launch and was ultimately destroyed by fire. The South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff stated that the U.S. and South Korean intelligence agencies are analyzing the detailed parameters of this projectile.
