The world's largest Tai Heavy Group manufactures a 5600mm cold straightening machine
People’s Finance and Information, April 8—According to the Science and Technology Daily, on April 8, reporters learned from Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Taiyuan Heavy Industries”) that its independently developed 5,600-millimeter global largest double-roll cold straightening machine has been successfully shipped to the customer’s site and has entered the installation and commissioning stage. The successful shipment of the equipment marks a new breakthrough for China in the field of large cold straightening machines, filling the international technological gap for double-roll cold straightening machines at the 5,600-millimeter level. According to information, this 5,600-millimeter cold straightening machine adopts a double-roll system design, enabling “one machine covers all” for plate materials with thicknesses of 6 to 50 millimeters. Its straightening range is improved by 36% compared with single-roll system models. Its technical level is internationally leading, making it more flexible and efficient for users to handle diversified orders. In addition, the equipment can easily deliver an ultra-strong straightening force of 60,000 kilonewtons, while saving energy and electricity; its noise level is only 40% of that of comparable machine models. This not only reduces the user’s operating costs, but also creates a green and friendly human-machine environment.
