On March 31, the 156-meter dynamic positioning pile-driving vessel “CRCC Bridge Pile 1” was successfully delivered in Nantong, Jiangsu. According to information, the vessel was invested and built by China Railway Construction Bridge Engineering Bureau. With a total length of 130.5 meters, a beam of 40.8 meters, a molded depth of 8.4 meters, a pile-frame height of 156 meters, and a maximum operating water depth of 70 meters, it can drive pile foundations with a diameter of 7 meters and a pile weight of 700 tons. As a pile-driving vessel that combines an advanced dynamic positioning system and three world-class performance indicators, the delivery of “CRCC Bridge Pile 1” marks a new step in our country’s core equipment capability to carry out large-scale, ultra-deep, high-precision pile foundation construction in complex marine environments. It will provide first-class equipment support for the construction of large-scale cross-sea bridges, wind power, ports, terminals, and deep-sea engineering at home and abroad. (Xinhua News Agency)
