A freight train loaded with polyvinyl chloride departed from China Xinjiang Zhunnorth Station on the 26th and will exit through the Youyi Pass at the Guangxi Pingxiang Friendship Pass Port on the China-Vietnam border to be transported to Vietnam. This is the first freight train of the Western Land-Sea New Corridor launched by Xinjiang this year. The Western Land-Sea New Corridor centers on Chongqing City, with key nodes in various western provinces and regions, utilizing rail, sea, and road transportation to reach ports along the coast and border crossings in Guangxi, Yunnan, and other areas, connecting to destinations around the world. To further develop the ASEAN market, this year, the Xinjiang railway department actively coordinated with enterprise export demands and organized the first chemical products train from China Xinjiang to Vietnam, supporting more Chinese manufacturing to “go global.” (Xinhua News Agency)
