How to optimize investment opportunities? Or how to filter them?

I have been investing and making money for many years, but I still find it challenging!
With limited funds and so many possibilities in the future, it’s hard to guarantee that putting more weight into certain investments will yield higher returns, while lighter positions may only generate small gains.
How do you all decide which assets to prioritize and which to allocate less to when choosing investment targets?
