Before I was active on twitter, I was in a small private group of 10 or so link marines.
There was this one mysterious guy I never met who was really tied in with politics, had stories about billionaires, prime ministers etc. No idea if BS but he did have an oddly high global event forecast hit rate. Still no clue who he was.
Anyway, when COVID hit, I remember him right away saying that it just accelerated BTC adoption by 10 years. The prescience of that statement stuck with me and I still think about it sometimes.
Kinda feels like Trump going after Powell is another one of those moments where we lose faith in the system and turn towards technology, turn towards Bitcoin.
