#美国非农就业数据未达市场预期 When the market is hot, many people want to buy the dip and sell the top, but often end up doing the opposite. One trader got caught — he made 10,000 yuan from a move from 4487 to 4520, and took profits cleanly. But when he woke up and saw the market hadn’t stopped, he jumped in long at 4550, only to get trapped along the way. Later, after some reflection, he adjusted his strategy. At that time, non-farm payroll data was below expectations, and the market showed volatility on $XAU. He switched to a right-side trading approach: capturing 8 points in the 4578-4586 range, then another 10 points between 4587-4577, totaling 5,000 yuan from two trades.

The key insight is: when a big trend comes, instead of guessing where the top or bottom is, it’s better to wait for confirmation of the pattern before acting. The peaks or bottoms you see might just be mid-mountain, and many traders lose money trading on the left side. Trading on the right side may earn a bit less, but the win rate and mindset are much better.

Trading on the left side indeed easily leads to pitfalls. This guy learns quickly. Although the 5000 yuan isn't as bullish as the 4550 wave, the stability is completely different. This is the right way.

Ah, another victim story of left-side trading. I'm very familiar with this. Human nature is like this: after making money, you want to squeeze out another wave, but end up getting trapped. However, this guy later realized that right-side trading, although earning less, is indeed more stable. Win rate is the key. I used to be like that too, always chasing highs and selling lows. Now I've learned my lesson: wait for confirmation of the pattern before acting. My mindset is much more comfortable now.

Trading on the left side is really a trap. I have friends who have been caught in it too. Greed is the devil.

Brothers who chase high right after waking up are truly incredible; this is the price of greed.

Greedy outcomes are like this; you should have learned to let go long ago.

This is a typical FOMO vulnerability, with greedy parameters not reset to zero. Trading on the left side is like calling an unverified contract, betting on luck rather than logic.
