#钱包用户资产被盗 Seeing the DeBot incident this time, I feel quite heavy-hearted. A loss of $255,000 is a permanent record on the blockchain, and hackers are still actively attacking — this reminds me of similar stories over the past decade.

From Mt.Gox in 2014, The DAO in 2016, to countless wallet attacks since then, every time someone says "This time is different, we have new technology." But the fundamental issue has never changed: the centralization risk in private key management. The design of DeBot distributing private keys to users itself harbors hidden dangers; once the backend is compromised, the assets of all affected users are exposed.

Ironically, what we've only come to understand after years on the blockchain is that decentralization is not just a slogan, but a technical choice that must be implemented. The official says "Secure wallet is operating normally," but the users' private keys are already in someone else's hands — no amount of explanation can make that seem less pale.

This incident reminds us that any scheme claiming to "manage" your private keys should be approached with caution. History repeatedly proves that self-custody is the only truly secure way — no matter how troublesome, it's worth it. The lesson is written on the chain; it's up to you whether you're willing to learn.
