Weekend Review: How to Catch the Next Wave of Small-Cap Coins
This week, the performance of small-cap cryptocurrencies was quite interesting. I spent a few days analyzing charts and noticed a clear phenomenon: most of the coins that recently surged have daily Stoch RSI values above 90.
This shifted my perspective. Instead of constantly watching those coins that have already run up and trying to chase them, it’s better to take a different approach—actively scanning the market to find those assets that are about to take off but haven't yet caught the attention of most people.
Shifting from chasing hot spots to systematic scanning reflects an important cognitive upgrade. When technical indicators reach extreme overbought levels (RSI 90+), the risk and reward are no longer balanced. True opportunities are often hidden at the beginning of the next market move—those that are accumulating energy but haven't yet broken out.
Next week, I will continue to observe whether this strategy can help us catch the early rise of the next wave of small-cap coins.
