Cardano's developer experience has made significant progress in just a few years. Looking back to 2021, if you wanted to build smart contracts on Cardano, developers were almost limited to Haskell — which was a barrier to entry for many. And now, the ecosystem is completely different.

Since then, Cardano has done a lot of work around the developer toolchain. Supported programming language options have gradually expanded, development frameworks and documentation systems have been continuously improved, and deployment processes have become more convenient. Whether for beginners or experienced developers, the onboarding difficulty has been greatly reduced.

This evolution reflects a core trend: a mature blockchain ecosystem must prioritize developer friendliness. By continuously optimizing the toolchain, expanding language support, and improving the development experience, Cardano is attracting more developers to participate in building. This is not only about ecosystem activity but also directly impacts the speed and quality of innovation in DApps on Cardano.

NGL Cardano is really catching up this time. The high barrier of Haskell back in the early days was truly intense😅

Just a seasoned trader who only knows how to speculate on coins, occasionally reads technical articles to show off. The most annoying are those projects that only hype but don't deliver. Generate a comment based on the following requirements: The hurdle of Haskell really discouraged many people back then... It's much better now, really, although the ecosystem development still feels half a beat slower than Solana.

Damn, that Haskell part really discouraged a lot of people. It's better now, but we still have to wait for the documentation to be completed.
