The content of this issue's CandyDrop is very rich, divided into four main tasks: recharge, spot trading, contract trading, and inviting friends to trade (for details, click https://www.gate.com/zh/candy-drop/detail/SOMI-122). You can complete them one by one in the order I listed.
✅I prepared a starting fund of 510u, first purchased 500U of Somi on the chain, then deposited it onto the Gate platform, and received 3 candies.
✅Then sell the Somi in hand, buy it back, repeat the transaction 6 times, complete a spot trading volume of 3000u, and obtain 5 candies.
✅Then use the funds in hand to go long/short on Somi in the contract market with 5x leverage. The specific direction should be judged slightly based on the price trend at that time. If you want to hold after opening a position, you need to grasp it yourself. I closed my position after a slight profit. 🙋🙋So what is Somi, and why did I choose it?
        
Somnia Network is a brand new L1 blockchain designed to build a "virtual society" by supporting applications such as gaming, the metaverse, and decentralized social networking. Its advantages lie in high throughput and sub-second performance. In November 2024, Somnia Network demonstrated an astonishing speed of over one million transactions per second during the DefNet stress test, shocking the crypto community.
💪💪Core Technology Advantages:
            ✅. Original MultiStream Consensus Engine: Divides the network into 256 dynamic sub-chains through a sharding architecture model, achieving atomicity of cross-shard transactions through the Probabilistic Finality Confirmation (PFC) algorithm, on AWS.
The c6g.8xlarge node cluster test reached 1,280,000 TPS, with a transaction confirmation delay of only 0.4 seconds.
             ✅. Using the IceDB state storage system: three-layer hybrid storage, hot data (<24h) is stored in GPU memory, warm data (<30d) uses NVMe SSD, cold data is archived via IPFS, state query speed is improved by 47 times, and storage space is reduced by 83%.
             ✅. Compiled smart contracts: Real-time compilation of Solidity bytecode into the WASM-128 instruction set, reducing contract execution gas consumption to 1/20 of the EVM standard.

📈📈Deflationary tokenomics design:
​​​​​✅The total supply of Somi tokens is fixed at 1 billion, with an initial circulation of 16%. Of this, 26% is allocated to the team and partners, 15.5% to investors, and 27% to the ecosystem fund. The remaining portion is reserved for community incentives, validator rewards, and airdrops. The uncirculated portion will be gradually unlocked over several years (see the unlocking plan in the figure below), ensuring the stability of token supply and preventing concentrated sell-offs due to large releases.

✅Token Use:
             Payment network Gas fee: 50% of the deflationary burn of each transaction fee is automatically destroyed, with a total of 2.37 million coins destroyed by August 2024. It is dynamically adjusted: when network utilization > 75%, the burn ratio increases to 65%.
Pledge to maintain network security: adopt layered staking, base layer (starting from 5M SOMI): fixed annualized return of 9.2% + 15% transaction fee dividends; super node (50M SOMI): additional governance proposal weight.
Community governance voting: Major upgrades require approval from nodes with a staked amount ≥30%. Proposal types include: Gas fee parameter adjustments, subchain expansion voting, ecological fund allocation, etc.
✅ Through the use of token utility, it is not difficult to find that a higher burn rate ensures a continuous reduction in token supply, which is beneficial for the stability of long-term prices.
