Pump.science Wallet Private Key Leak: An Unfinished StormOn the evening of November 25th, pump.science's Wallet Secret Key was leaked, leading to an attack on its Wallet Address in the GitHub repository. The attacker found the Secret Key in the Source Code of the website and used it to issue Urolithin B (URO) Token on the pump.fun platform, misleading the community into believing that the Token was officially issued. The fraudulent Token briefly soared to a market capitalization of $10 million, but the Market Cap has now fallen to around $100,000. The Wallet Address deploying the fraudulent Token also off-chain deployed the official Urolithin A (URO) and Rifampicin (RIF) Tokens, with Market Caps of approximately $87 million and $37 million, respectively. pump.science has not taken any remedial or compensatory measures for the affected users. Meanwhile, the off-chain launch coin feature of pump.fun has caused confusion for Token creators in the blockchain explorer and data tools. Investors should be cautious when investing in MemeToken, distinguishing between Tokens created on-chain and off-chain on pump.fun and verifying them, while also remaining vigilant.
