IEA: A large supply of liquefied natural gas will enter the market from 2026.

On February 25, Jinshi Data reported that Fatih Birol, executive director of the International Energy Agency (IEA), said that a new wave of liquefied natural gas supply is expected to impact the global market starting from the end of next year. The IEA stated that new liquefied natural gas projects (mainly from the United States and Qatar) coming online in the next few years will increase annual production capacity by over 250 billion cubic meters, and global export capacity will increase by nearly 50% by 2030. Birol said, "The natural gas market is likely to shift from a seller's market to a buyer's market."
