On October 10th, Jin10 Data reported that the S&P 500 index is expected to hit a new high, and market attention is now turning to the beginning of the earnings season. The third quarter earnings season will officially begin on Friday, when several of the largest banks will release their results. Investors have been generally optimistic recently, as strong economic data has offset the escalating tensions in the Middle East and the uncertainty of the US election. On Tuesday, driven by technology stocks, the S&P 500 index approached a historic high. Soon, the Federal Reserve will release the minutes of its September meeting, during which the Fed boldly cut interest rates by 50 basis points and began its rate-cutting campaign. However, the decision was not unanimously passed, marking the first time since 2005 that a Fed board member dissented.
