The Israeli Security Cabinet holds a meeting as opposition leader accuses the prime minister of delaying Gaza ceasefire

On August 16th, Jinshi data reported that on the same day as the new round of Gaza ceasefire negotiations in Doha, Qatar, the Israeli Security Cabinet held a meeting in Tel Aviv on the evening of August 15th local time. In addition, Gantz, the leader of the Israeli opposition party and former member of the wartime cabinet, issued a statement on the 15th, urging Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to reach a ceasefire protocol as soon as possible, thereby facilitating the return of detained personnel to Israel. Gantz accused Netanyahu of delaying the ceasefire protocol for political reasons.
