The social media account of the famous band Metallica has been hacked and used to promote fraudulent cryptocurrency tokens.

PANews reported on June 26th that according to Decrypt, the social media accounts of the famous heavy metal band Metallica were recently hacked, and the hackers used these accounts to promote fraudulent cryptocurrency tokens. Several celebrities were also involved and became tools for the scam. The hackers posted false information to induce fans and investors to purchase worthless tokens. Experts remind the public to be vigilant and not to easily believe investment advice on social media, and to verify information through official channels to prevent fraud.
