Odaily Planet Daily reports that IoTeX has announced a comprehensive recovery and compensation plan. They pledge to provide 100% full compensation to all legitimate affected users. Any compliant wallet address holding bridged assets from Ethereum (USDC, USDT, ETH, WBTC) on the IoTeX chain during the hacking incident qualifies for compensation. Users with affected assets totaling no more than $10,000 will receive immediate full compensation, covering over 90% of affected users. Users with affected assets exceeding $10,000 will be compensated in phases and receive an additional 10% reward (distributed as staked IOTX for 12 months). The claim portal and fund recovery deposit addresses will be announced through official channels on February 27 (Friday).
