Ondo Expands Tokenized Stock Platform to BNB Chain, Boosting Global Market Access

Ondo Finance has expanded its tokenized securities platform, Ondo Global Markets, to BNB Chain, extending access to U.S. equities and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) for non-U.S. investors. The move introduces more than 100 tokenized versions of Wall Street assets to one of the largest blockchain ecosystems, a new phase in the firm’s multi-chain expansion strategy. Ondo’s integration with BNB Chain follows its September launch on Ethereum, which attracted over $350 million in total value locked (TVL) and generated nearly $670 million in onchain trading volume.

100+ Tokenized Stocks Now Accessible on BNB Chain

BNB Chain users can now trade tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs through decentralized exchange PancakeSwap, the network’s largest DeFi platform. According to Ondo’s announcement on Wednesday, the integration allows millions of users across Asia, Latin America, and other regions to gain blockchain-based exposure to U.S. financial markets

BNB Chain hosts around 3.4 million daily active users, providing a vast audience for Ondo’s tokenized products. Sarah Song, BNB Chain’s head of business development, said real-world asset tokenization has become one of the network’s fastest-growing areas

She described Ondo’s arrival as further validation of that growth. Ondo’s CEO and founder Nathan Allman added that the BNB ecosystem offers a cost-efficient and interoperable environment suited for global investors seeking 24/7 access to U.S. securities.

Ondo Builds Multi-Chain Infrastructure

The expansion aligns with Ondo’s goal to establish a multi-chain infrastructure for tokenized assets. The firm aims to simplify cross-border access to regulated U.S. securities through decentralized settlement and custody

By integrating with BNB Chain, Ondo enables faster transactions, lower fees, and onchain transparency while maintaining blockchain composability for DeFi developers. Earlier this year, Ondo acquired U.S.-regulated broker Oasis Pro and blockchain developer Strangelove to strengthen its technical and compliance framework

The company also launched its own blockchain, Ondo Chain, in February, positioning itself as a key participant in the regulated tokenization space. Notably, Ondo Finance is backed by Peter Thiel’s Founders Fund and manages about $1.8 billion in tokenized assets.

Rising Institutional Interest in Tokenized Securities

The timing of Ondo’s expansion coincides with a surge in global interest in real-world asset tokenization. Data from RWA.xyz shows Ondo has tokenized roughly $1.8 billion worth of assets, including U.S. Treasuries and equities, attracting over 28,000 holders. According to Ondo, the addition of BNB Chain will further broaden access and liquidity for tokenized securities while integrating with key DeFi projects across the ecosystem.

BNB Chain continues to attract institutional partnerships. Last week, Kyrgyzstan selected it to develop a national stablecoin and advance digital asset education across its universities, showing the network’s growing role in real-world financial adoption.
