1.4 Million BNB Tokens Taken Out of Circulation

The recent Auto-Burn mechanism destroyed approximately 1.44 million BNB tokens, equating to over $1.2 billion in value at the time of the burn. This process removes tokens permanently, directly influencing the token’s scarcity and serving as a core part of BNB Chain’s deflationary design. The total supply of BNB is set to be reduced to a target of 100 million tokens. The successful execution of this major burn event on the BNB Smart Chain (BSC) allowed BNB to reclaim its spot as the 4th largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, surpassing XRP.
