Zelensky meets with representatives of American arms companies to seek cooperation to strengthen air defense capabilities.
Jin10 reported on October 17 that on the 17th local time, Ukrainian President Zelensky stated that he met with representatives of the American defense company Raytheon during his visit to the United States. Raytheon is the main manufacturer of the American “Patriot” air defense system. Zelensky mentioned that during the talks, both sides discussed Raytheon's production capacity, as well as potential cooperation avenues between the U.S. and Ukraine in strengthening Ukraine's air defense system and enhancing long-range strike capabilities, and also discussed the possibility of joint production. U.S. President Trump stated on the 13th that he confirmed he would meet with Ukrainian President Zelensky at the White House on the 17th to discuss topics such as air defense and long-range missile assistance.
