According to Foresight News, Zhao Changpeng tweeted that "Giggle Academy received over 1 million dollars in donations within 12 hours of opening donations. It far exceeded my expectations. So far, 90% of the donations have come from a Meme Token. I still don't understand how a coin with a market capitalization of 5 million dollars can generate 900,000 dollars in donation fees within 12 hours. This has completely changed my view on Meme Tokens. Meme Tokens are really useful. Giggle will make good use of these donations. They will be used to incentivize contributors and accelerate development. These donations will not be used to pay employee salaries. For the foreseeable future, I will personally cover the costs of employees and servers. Giggle Academy has not created a Token and will not create a Token in the foreseeable future."
