Vietnam Techcom Securities executives propose to launch a pilot program for tokenized securities trading.

According to Gate News bot, as reported by vnexpress, at the "International Experience and Operations of Encryption Asset Trading Platforms" seminar, Duan Meixing, Senior Director of Techcom Securities (TCBS) in Vietnam, suggested to the attendees to plan a pilot for securities tokenization trading at the digital asset exchange.

Duan Meihang pointed out that securities-type tokens have characteristics similar to traditional assets such as stocks and bonds, and this similarity helps investors to accept them more easily. At the same time, tokenization also enables more flexible trading and asset splitting.

This proposal comes at a time when the Vietnamese government is working to improve the pilot policy for digital assets, with the relevant policy expected to be submitted to the National Assembly for review in May.
