Li Ka-shing "recommended Crypto Assets trading" as fake news, SCMP and TVB have reported to the police.
Gate.io News bot message, South China Morning Post ( SCMP ) disclosed that scammers are posting false news by impersonating its official website, claiming that Li Ka-shing “recommended encryption auto trading” and “has earned millions” in a TVB program, which is untrue information. The false news was released on April 17, containing manipulated screenshots.
In response to this incident, SCMP and TVB have reported to the police. Both media outlets remind the public to obtain information by visiting their official websites to prevent falling victim to phishing scams.
