Foresight News 消息，MegaETH 披露其代币 MEGA 的核心功能与 TGE 触发机制。MEGA 将具备两大核心功能：一是基金会将利用原生收益稳定币 USDM 产生的全部收入回购并累积 MEGA；二是引入 Proximity Markets 竞价系统，做市商和应用需使用 MEGA 竞价以获取靠近排序器的空间，从而将端到端延迟降低至 1 毫秒以下，优先费价值将流向 MEGA。
同时，MegaETH 设定了三个关键绩效指标（KPI），达成其中任何一个后的 7 天内将进行 TGE：
1、USDM 30 天时间加权流通量超过 5 亿美元，且 25% 的流通量存入关键应用的验证智能合约；
2、10 个「Mafia」应用完全部署（包含验证合约、功能闭环及公开前端）；
3、3 个应用连续 30 天每日产生 5 万美元费用。
此外，Echo 用户、Fluffle 和 Sonar 参与者将在 TGE 首日获得 20% 的代币分配。所有 KPI 将于 2 月 9 日通过自定义前端公开追踪。
