此前消息，稳定币发行商 Tether Holdings SA 已成为全球黄金市场最大参与者之一，其持有约 140 吨黄金，价值约 230 亿美元，据信是银行与国家以外最大的已知实物黄金持有者。Tether 首席执行官 Paolo Ardoino 透露，公司正以每周 1 至 2 吨的速度持续购买黄金，目标是在一个前瑞士核掩体中建立长期、稳定的实物黄金储备。
