Gate News bot 消息，上市比特币矿商 Riot Platforms (RIOT) 表示，已出售 175 万股竞争对手 Bitfarms (BITF) 股票，价值约 158 万美元，作为持续审查其对 Bitfarms 投资的一部分。此前，该公司对 Bitfarms 的收购要约失败，其持股比例一度升至近 15%。

Riot Platforms 于 6 月 9 日在纳斯达克和其他公开市场出售了这些股票，加权平均价格约为每股 0.90 美元，Riot Platforms 的实际持股比例降至 14.3%。

敌意收购要约于2024年5月公开，Riot提出以每股2.30美元的价格收购Bitfarms，但这一方案很快被否决，并于次月放弃。Riot继续购买其竞争对手的股票，以向董事会施压，迫使其与Bitfarms进行合作。Bitfarms随后实施了一项股东权利计划，即“毒丸计划”，以阻止Riot收购该公司。
