To further enhance market liquidity and improve the overall trading experience, Gate TradFi will optimize certain trading parameters for selected CFDs. These adjustments will increase the maximum order size per trade and expand the number of positions that can be managed within an account, supporting more efficient multi-strategy and professional trading.
The specific adjustments are as follows:
1. Adjustment to Maximum Order Size per Trade
To accommodate users' demand for larger trades, Gate will increase the maximum order size for certain CFDs:
Stock CFDs: Maximum order size per trade increased to 100 lots
Other CFDs (such as Indices, Commodities, and Forex): Maximum order size per trade increased to 10 lots
A lot is a standardized trading unit used in CFD trading to measure the size of a single transaction. The quantity represented by one lot varies depending on the underlying asset.
2. Adjustment to Maximum Number of Positions per Account
To support multi-market and multi-strategy trading, Gate will also increase the maximum number of positions that a user account can hold.
Maximum position rule:
The combined total of open positions and pending orders may not exceed 300.
This adjustment will help improve the execution efficiency of high-frequency trading and multi-asset strategies.
3. Effective Time
The above adjustments has taken effect on March 11, 2026, at 08:00 (UTC). Users do not need to take any action. The system will automatically update the relevant parameters.
