Alright, if you're already holding BTC and ETH in your wallet and are thinking about which other cryptocurrencies to invest in for the long term, I have some interesting ideas to share.

The crypto market has gone through tough periods, but personally I see it as an opportunity. When things calm down, it's often the best time to do DCA on assets with real potential. Besides the usual two main coins, there are several other options worth considering if you really want to diversify.

Let's take BNB, for example. It's the utility token of one of the leading global exchanges and also the currency of its blockchain. With over 30 million users regularly using it for fees, its value is quite entrenched. Currently trading at $648.60 with a market cap of $87.42B. If it continues to grow as it has, it will probably remain relevant.

Uniswap (UNI) is another one I keep an eye on. It's the largest DEX on Ethereum with an impressive TVL. The token has shown good historical performance — since its launch in 2020, it has come a long way. Today it's at $3.53, and analysts say it could have significant growth margins in the coming years.

Solana (SOL) is probably one of the most interesting names for those looking to invest in cryptocurrencies long-term. The ecosystem is growing rapidly, and despite facing some congestion issues, the team continues to innovate. Currently at $89.63, it has already demonstrated the ability to make significant moves.

If you're looking for something more niche, Basic Attention Token (BAT) might interest you. It's the token of the Brave browser, which has already attracted 60 million users. The idea of earning by watching ads is brilliant, and the token is still relatively undervalued. Quoted at $0.11.

In the metaverse sector, Decentraland (MANA) remains one of the leaders. Big brands like Nike, Coca-Cola, and JP Morgan have invested here. The project integrates NFTs, play-to-earn gaming, and Web3. Currently at $0.09, analysts see significant potential.

Chiliz (CHZ) is interesting if you believe in the sports fan tokens sector. Major clubs like Barcelona, Juventus, and Manchester City use its platform. With adoption growing, it could be an interesting opportunity. Current quote: $0.04.

ApeCoin (APE) is still young — launched in 2022 — but has already attracted a lot of attention as the utility token of BAYC. The team is working on the metaverse and seeking partnerships with e-commerce platforms. Currently at $0.16, it is still in development.

Polygon (MATIC) is a Layer 2 solution that shouldn't be ignored. Even though many Layer 2 solutions exist now, MATIC still has a lot of untapped potential. Currently at $0.18, it maintains support from major venture capital firms.

If you're interested in gaming, Axie Infinity (AXS) deserves attention. The project has faced some challenges, but the team is redefining its direction toward franchising and NFT land staking. Currently at $1.37.

Finally, Synthetix (SNX) is a very interesting derivatives DEX. What makes it unique is that it not only represents crypto but also real assets like gold and commodities. Currently at $0.33, it's one of the DeFi projects with the most potential.

Now, when choosing cryptocurrencies to invest in long-term, there are some things to consider: look at past price history — seek coins that have shown they can reach new ATHs and recover from corrections. Make sure they operate on solid blockchains. Evaluate their potential in their specific sector. A strong community is essential. And finally, check the tokenomics — avoid assets with excessive inflation.

Obviously, these are personal observations based on what I see in the market. I can't guarantee they are the absolute best choices. But if you're looking for cryptocurrencies to invest in long-term beyond BTC and ETH, these are the names I personally monitor. The key is always staying updated on market news and having a reasonable buy/sell plan. Happy investing!
